Terminals:

There are 5 Terminals: 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8, open 24 hours a day. A free train (AirTrain) links all terminals with each other, the parking lots and the car rental facilities. Learn more

The airport has restaurants, grab & go, cafes and bars as well as a wide variety of shops including duty free articles, clothing and fashion, cosmetics, electronics and telephones, alcoholic beverages, candies, etc. Terminal 1 (boarding area) and 4 (public area). There are some 24-hour options in Terminal 1 (boarding area) and 4 (public area). In addition, passengers can find convenience stores with regional products, books and newspapers. There are also several amenities such as: ATMs, free Wi-fi access, charging stations, international Currency Exchange, Baggage Storage, Secure Wrap, nursing rooms, Beauty & Spa, VIP lounges, luggage carts, working spaces, Service Animal & Pet Relief and a hotel in Terminal 5.

AirTrain

The 24-hour JFK AirTrain is the fastest and easiest way to move around JFK Airport. The system connects all passenger terminals to airport parking lots, the hotel shuttle pick-up area, the rental car center, and NYC’s public transportation network at Jamaica and Howard Beach Stations, where you can connect with the subway, the Long Island Rail Road, and public buses. NYC Subway System

The AirTrain links all passenger terminals with NYC’s Subway system at Jamaica and Howard Beach Stations. At Jamaica, you can take the E, J or Z lines. At Howard Beach, you can take the A line. All NYC Subway fares are separate from AirTrain, but they can be paid using any MetroCard. The fare is $2.75 USD. Learn more

Long Island Railroad

This commuter rail links Jamaica station with Penn Station, located in Midtown Manhattan, and Atlantic Terminal, located in Downtown Brooklyn, as well as all Long Island destinations. Fares and schedules vary by time and day. Travel time can be significantly shorter than using the subway. Learn more

Bus services

There are several MTA bus services to south Jamaica, east New York, Kew Gardens/Ozone Park as well as shuttle buses connecting JFK airport with LaGuardia airport and Newark airport. Learn more

Taxi services

Official Nyc Yellow Taxi cab services have their stands located outside each terminal for safe and legitimate transportation. The  Flat Manhattan Fare is $70 (Does not include tolls, tip). Lyft is available at the Cell Phone Lot and Limousine Lot and Uber pick up area is in arrivals or baggage claim area Terminals 1-4, and in departures level T5. Learn more
