Parking areas
There are 4 parking lots: economy, garage, short and long term. In short-term parking lots there are assigned parking spaces for passengers with reduced mobility. In addition, there are free cell phone lots to drop off or pick up a passenger, as well as the Kiss & Fly zone.
Passengers Free Pick-up and Drop-off zones
Cell Phone Lot (Pick-up)
The free Cell Phone Lot is situated within a five-minute radius of all terminals, offering a convenient place to wait for arriving flights while ensuring smooth traffic flow at the airport.
If you choose to enter the terminal with the passenger, please note that only ticketed passengers will be allowed past the security checkpoint. However, you are welcome to enjoy any of the areas before the security checkpoint.
Kiss & Fly (Drop-off)
Conveniently located at the JFK Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain Station, Kiss & Fly allows passengers to simply hop on the AirTrain for a quick and free ride to their terminal. Free Kiss & Fly is a great way to avoid airport traffic when dropping someone off at JFK.

** There are designated parking spaces for use by customers with reduced mobility and are located in each short-term parking lot (very close to the terminal entrance) and in the long-term parking lot (near Howard Beach JFK and Lefferts Boulevard stations). AirTrain). To park in these reserved spaces, official disabled license plates or other official permits issued by a municipality or state of residence must be prominently displayed.

- Ways to Pay for Parking
Pay for on-airport parking using credit, debit or E-ZPass Plus activated on your E-ZPass tag and pay in the designated lane when exiting a lot - Parking with prior reservation. Reserve a parking space when you book your flight. Booking online is always cheaper plus it guarantees your spot even when the parking lot is full. To get the spaces near the terminals, prebook a premium reserved parking space in advance.. The booking must be made online.
- Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
In JFK's Yellow lot, there are five electric vehicle charging stations available. They are located on the ground level next to Terminal 5. You can access the station with an RFID-enabled credit card or Chargepoint access card. Electricity is provided free of charge. All parking fees will be collected when you exit the parking lot.
